Registration and fee
We provide accreditation at the most reasonable rates. The fees for the 2023–2024 cycle are as follows.
Note that all bills are payable net thirty days and are billed per commission. A 1.5% monthly interest charge will be applied after that. If any fees are not paid, visits may be canceled and/or a program may be removed from the ABET List of Accredited Programs.
- The fee for each program reviewed – $1,100
- Base fee for a program review – $3,700
- The fee for each program evaluator – $3,700
- One evaluator reviewing two programs – $400
- An extra day, per program evaluator – $400
- Visit to an off-campus location, per location, per program evaluator – $400
Any additional expenses incurred due to travel to an off-campus location will also be billed to the institution.
A total of 4,674 programs at 920 colleges and universities in 42 countries and regions are accredited by ABET as of October 1, 2023, an increase of 110 programs from 2022.
We recognized programs in Ethiopia and the Dominican Republic for the first time in the 2022–2023 certification period. Four bachelor’s degree programs at Bahir Dar University in Ethiopia and three bachelor’s degree programs at Universidad de las Americas in the Dominican Republic have been accredited.
