Receiving a substantial 3.99 million euro grant from the European Union, the project, led by GISIG (Geographical Information Systems International Group), aims to revolutionize space technology education across Europe.
Building upon the achievements and expertise of the previous Erasmus+ Sector Skills Alliance project EO4GEO (2018-2022), SpaceSUITE expands the knowledge of Earth Observation and Geo-information to include Positioning Navigation and Timing, as well as Satellite Communication. The project will create tailored educational programs for various roles, from technicians to decision-makers, fostering advanced skills in the aerospace and defense sector.
Over a four-year span, the collaborative effort includes 25 full partners from different European countries, comprising academia, vocational and education providers, governmental associations, and industry representatives. ‘SpaceSUITE’ endeavors to lead groundbreaking advancements in the European space sector.
