Even if you’re a person like me who sleeps late but still ends up waking early, you’ll notice a decline in your performance at work; in fact, you’ll notice it right from the time you get out of bed.

Now, you want to make sure that, immediately after your alarm comes up, you don’t turn it off. What this does is force you off your bed, since the sound can be annoying. If you say you’re just going to get five minutes more sleep and you turn off the alarm, it can end up being an hour of sleep, which has already ruined your morning routine. This is why it’s better if you get up immediately when the alarm starts ringing.

And you may be thinking, “It’s easier said than done.” Right? I know!

So that’s why I’m sharing with you some ideas that can help out: Try counting down from five and then forcing yourself to get up (it usually works for me). Before you go to bed, make sure your slippers are close. And lastly, if you’re a coffee drinker, consider presetting the machine to wake you up. This should help.

Meditation supports relaxation and can be combined with positive affirmations. For a relaxing routine, take time to sit with your thoughts and breathe deeply.
