Scholarship Applications

Welcome to our online application process. If you have never applied for an ANS scholarship before here is how you do it:

  1. When you click on any scholarship application below, you will be taken to the ANS login page.
    • If you are an ANS Member, please log in using your email and password associated with your member account. If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the “Forgot Your Password?” link to reset it.
    • If you are not an ANS Member or have never applied before, you may not have an account. If you do not, you must create one in order to access the applications.
  2. After you log in, apply for the General Application first. This will allow for all your basic information from the general application to be pulled into any linked applications. Be sure to go through each application to complete any additional information required for each specific scholarship.
  3. The Kent W. Hamlin and Incoming Freshman applications are not linked to the general application. If you are applying for these scholarships you must complete their separate applications.
  4. Late applications are not accepted. The scholarship system closes at 11:59 p.m. (CST) on the day of the deadline, and nothing can be added after the deadline.
  5. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the ANS Scholarship Coordinator.

Scholarship Program

ANS student members are the future of the society and we believe in rewarding our members for their academic, service, and leadership excellence. ANS scholarships are awarded to applicants who have personified the high standards set by the Society and since 1979, over $6 million in scholarships have been distributed.

Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen, undergraduates, and graduate students, and are distributed at the beginning of each school year. Evaluation is based upon numerous factors, such as academic excellence, leadership within the ANS, references, career goals, and financial need.

Dates

  • November 1: Applications open
  • February 1: Deadline for ANS General Application, NEED, Division-Administered, and Local Section scholarships
  • April 1: Deadline for Incoming Freshman Scholarship and Community College/Trade School scholarship applications
  • April 15 – May 15: Notifications sent
  • After August 20: Awards dispersed to the Department Head
