Trinity College Dublin and China Scholarship Council are starting a joint scholarship program for 2022

Trinity College Dublin and China Scholarship Council (CSC) in Europe (CEE) are starting a joint scholarship program for 2022. Under this program, each year about 18 talented Chinese students will be selected by CSC to study at Trinity College Dublin (TCD). The scholarship covers full tuition fees, living expenses, and travel costs. At the same time, TCD has scholarships available that cover tuition fees and expenses while they study at TCD. Scholarships will be available for Ph.D. programs

One of our major areas of expertise is Ph.D. studies at The School of Natural Sciences (SNS), Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. The SNS offers a large number of Ph.D. programs that are available in collaboration with both Irish universities as well as international partners like the University of California Berkeley. The postgraduate scholarships will be provided to conduct full-time research work if required by the awarding body, which involves attending seminars, conferences, workshops, and other training events in your field.

Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit

€4,000 for Masters’s Students and €6,000 for Ph.D. Students. Applicants will also be expected to meet specific language requirements as set out by Trinity College Dublin’s Admissions Department. Scholarships will be awarded on academic merit with strong preference given to applicants who have achieved an ‘A’ level grade point average of at least 95% in three or more subjects at Higher Level, taken as part of their school-leaving examinations or its equivalent.

Applicants must have excellent English skills

You can apply online, register your account and create an application form with information such as academic background, career objectives, research interests, and other personal information. The exam test includes two parts: an analytical writing section and a language section (Chinese). Test-takers will be awarded points according to their performance in each part of the test. All applicants need to pass both sections in order to qualify for final review.
